Development Camps
Designed for 2009-2014 birth years these sessions focus on developing experienced players that want to take their game to the next level. The focus will be on developing hockey sense. Players are taught attributes to use in their game to help them develop a competitive advantage, the same attributes we teach our D1 Players at UNH.
The First half of the ice session will focus on skills such as positioning, puck skills, shooting, passing and awareness to help players become elite thinkers of the game of hockey and allow them to get to spots on the ice to make plays and score.
During the second half of the ice session my staff and I will use small game situations where players can use what they have worked on individually in the earlier session and implement these strategies into game situations.
These sessions are designed for players with experience that want to build and grow their hockey abilities to help them take their game to the next level. Our goal in these sessions is to help develop the players’ hockey sense by improving their awareness, scanning and next play mentality.
In teaching these concepts our coaches will focus on specialized training which will assist the players with their overall understanding of the game.
